Michelle began studying Thai yoga bodywork in 2011 by yoga instructor and certiﬁed Thai yoga bodyworker, Jenn Posterick of Intent Bodywork. Michelle studies mainly with Jenn’s teacher, Tanya Boigenzahn of Devanadi Yoga and also travelled to Thailand with Tanya to study with her teacher, Master Pichet Boonthumme of Chiang Mai. Michelle has a passion for learning and helping others which has also led her to complementary studies such as Thai herbal compress with Bob Haddad, Reiki and yoga teacher training with Tanya Boigenzahn and aromatherapy with Jodi Baglien.
A few words:
I am passionate about providing sessions that meet the needs and exceed the expectations of my clients. I often hear, “I’m not flexible. I could never do that.” The response is simple, “That’s the beauty of Thai! Thai yoga bodywork listens to YOUR body and what it can do. Every session is different.” Sessions are a sharing of energies and healing from a loving place with the highest intentions. I believe what transpires on the Thai mat is a small but powerful component of the healing process. True healing must come from within. People have the most success making changes with a strong, supportive, network of friends, family and like-minded people. I’m available to guide you on your path to healing and invite you to include our Synchrony community in your support network. I am always happy to receive a phone call, email, text or visit from our clients. If you plan to visit in person make sure you call first to be sure I’m not Thai-ed up in a session.

What is Thai Yoga Bodywork?
Northern-style Thai yoga bodywork (Nuad Boran) is a living tradition that is part of the Thai healing arts. Combining stretching, rhythmic massage, acupressure, assisted yoga poses and energy balancing, Thai yoga bodywork is a broad healing modality that allows the practitioner to address the recipient’s physical and energetic health. Your practitioner will use hands, elbows, knees, and feet to work your energy lines while you relax on the Thai mat. Thai yoga bodywork stimulates the flow of energy to aid in the body’s capability to heal naturally. Focusing on the breath, the rhythmic flow of the session will leave you feeling rejuvenated, relaxed and reconnected.
